Hey there, Rebs! I'm a senior from Clifton, Tennessee, majoring in Public Policy Leadership, and I have the awesome opportunity of serving as the Executive Director of SAA this year! The Student Activities Association is the foundation of student life on the Ole Miss campus, and we have the privilege and challenge to create free events for students of every walk of life. I'm proud to work with a group of leaders who are so dedicated to that mission and who create events like Goat Yoga, Fall Fest, Miss University, Ole Miss Idol, and Flagship Friday for every student to enjoy. Hotty Toddy, y'all, and don't forget to text SAA to 88202!

Associate Director

Alea Jones

Hey y'all! I am senior from Jackson, MS studying Biochemistry on the Pre-Medical track. I am currently serving as the Associate Director of The Student Activities Association. SAA has been home for me since my sophomore year and I have always admired this organization's ability to reach all point of campus. SAA is so uniquely situated to bring groups of people together who typically would not cross paths and it is because of this, SAA is so integral to the student experience at The University of Mississippi. Can't wait to see y'all at events, Hotty Toddy!

Harrison Grimes

Hey y'all! My name is Harrison Grimes, and I am a senior from Madison, MS, majoring in mathematics and economics with a minor in public policy leadership. I am serving as one of the Co-Directors of Special Events for SAA this year! SAA is one of my favorite organizations on campus because of the way that it connects students from all backgrounds by providing so many opportunities to meet new people. I'm excited to work on bringing some new events to campus with Preston and Tori and hope that we can continue to help all students, whether they're attending their first SAA event or met their best friend during Welcome Week their freshman year, feel connected on campus.

Hey y'all! My name is Tori Starks, and I'm a Senior, Biology major on the pre-med track from Paris, TN. I am so excited to be serving as a Co-Director of Special Events for SAA this year! As an out-of-state student, I didn't know many people when I came in as a Freshman, but I quickly found SAA events to be a place where I could meet new friends and have a little fun, and I knew I had to be a part of it! One of my favorite memories is actually dancing the night away at Silent Disco Freshman year with some of my current best friends! As a Co-Director, I can not wait to plan inclusive activities to bring others together and add a little more joy on campus! Hotty Toddy!

Hello Rebel Family! I’m a senior, General Engineering Major, from Madison, Mississippi. This year I am serving as one of the Co-Directors for the Special Events committee. I decided to join SAA because I noticed the impact it had on so many students, whether that be connecting freshmen to some of their first friends on campus or helping transfer students get plugged into such a welcoming community. SAA provides fun and engaging activities for every type of student with the main goal of forming lasting relationships that students may carry throughout their college careers. My favorite memory of SAA is ice skating in front of the Union right before the holidays. My goal this year is to create new and exciting events that students can feel welcomed and engaged at, all while meeting new people. I can’t wait to get to work bringing these events to life. Hotty Toddy and Go Rebels.

Co-Directors of Homecoming

Louis Allen

Hey y'all! I'm a junior accounting major from Memphis, Tennessee, and I get to serve as one of this year's SAA Homecoming Co-directors. I decided to get involved with SAA last year as a member of the homecoming committee, because I saw what an incredible impact this organization has on our campus, and I wanted to be a part of that. SAA is able to bring so many awesome events to campus and seeks to reach every student at Ole Miss- my personal favorite event is the mechanical shark! I can't wait to continue bringing these events to campus, and I hope everyone gets a chance to participate. Hotty Toddy!

Hey Ole Miss! I am a junior from Hattiesburg, Mississippi majoring in Elementary Education. This year, I have the Privilege of serving as a Co-Director of Homecoming. I got involved in SAA’s Homecoming Committee last year after finding SAA events to be a highlight of my freshman year. I love that SAA provides a variety of unique and creative events that appeal to all students. One of my favorite events that Homecoming has hosted so far this year was Goat Yoga!! We brought live goats to the campus recreational field where participants were walked through a beginner yoga class and given an opportunity to take pictures and play with the goats! My goal for this year is to continue providing fun and inclusive events for all students. Can’t wait for Landshark Week this spring! Hotty Toddy!

Co-Directors of Entertainment

Kaylen Taylor

Hey Ole Miss! I am a senior from Jackson, MS majoring in biochemistry on a pre-medicine track. I joined the Student Activities Association (SAA) at the end of my freshman year of college. It was the first organization that I joined without any of my friends and I immediately fell in love. SAA is an organization that embodies the things I love the most about this university and always finds a way to turn a stressful week around! The entertainment committee specifically gives the students a way to express themselves through art, music, dance, poetry, and so much more. As the Co-Director of Entertainment, I hope to cater to students of all different backgrounds and help them find their voice and truly get the Ole Miss experience. In love, Hotty Toddy!

Hey Ole Miss! I am a Junior Hospitality Management Major from Batesville, MS. The Student Activities Association was the first student organization that I got involved with on campus my freshman year. After attending a few events put on by SAA I decided to apply for the 360 Committee. My sophomore year, I then applied to the Entertainment Committee and currently serve as a Co-Director of Entertainment. SAA is special to Ole Miss because it allows everyone, no matter your background, a place to come to feel accepted and to become involved on campus. My goal for this year is to bring new, fun events to Ole Miss and to continue our tradition of giving students a platform! Hotty Toddy Rebs!

Hey y'all! I'm a senior from Hattiesburg, MS studying psychology, and I'm so excited to be serving as one of the co-directors of Entertainment for a second year! Since I started college, I've been interested in the process of bringing entertainment onto campus, and SAA provided an opportunity to get involved with that and gain hands-on experience in the field. I've loved serving this university in such a unique way and giving students platforms to showcase their voices and their talents. My goal for this year is to continue providing students with creative spaces and meaningful entertainment that everyone can enjoy! Can't wait to see y'all at our events, and hotty toddy!

Co-Directors of Pageants

Mary Frances Buzhardt

Hey Rebs! I'm a senior Dietetics and Nutrition major from Birmingham, AL, and I'm excited to serve as SAA Co-Director of Pageants this year! SAA was one of the first organizations I got plugged into when I was a freshman, and it served as the foundation of my involvement on campus. It makes a connection between all students--no matter where you come from, what you're doing, or where you're going, SAA has something for you! As Co-Director of Pageants, I'm biased in saying that Miss University is one of my favorite SAA events, but it really is so fun to watch all the incredible candidates be confident in themselves and show off their amazing talents. SAA has truly brought so much life into my college experience, and I hope that I can bring the same light to others on campus this year through my role on SAA. Hotty Toddy, Ole Miss!

Hey Ole Miss! I’m a junior Biomedical Engineering major from Madisonville, LA, and I serve as one of the co-directors for Pageants. SAA has been an integral part of my Ole Miss experience because the events they put on made me excited to be a part of this campus community. It sparked a fire for my involvement because I could see a tangible impact on the happiness or students around me. My goal this year is to continue to give every single student a place on campus by making sure that they have ample opportunities to participate. My favorite event within SAA is Parade of Beauties because seeing the confidence on women’s faces when they walk across the stage is so rewarding. I truly believe in the power of people, especially in the Ole Miss community, so I can’t wait to see where this year takes us. See y’all at the Ford Center! Hotty Toddy!

Co-Directors of Public Relations

Ivonne Perez

Hey Rebs! I'm a senior Integrated Marketing & Communications major coming all the way from Eugene, Oregon. I have the pleasure of being on SAA, serving as one of this year's Co-Directors of Pubic Relations. One of the first things I did on campus as an Ole Miss student was going to Silent Disco, and ever since then, it's been so great to be apart of all the fun! Something that I love about SAA is that there are events for everyone and it's so cool to see students on campus come together. I'm so excited for everything we have coming up. As always, Hotty Toddy !

Hey there Ole Miss! I am a Mathematics and Integrated Marketing Communications major from Biloxi, MS. I decided to get involved with SAA 2 years ago as a member of the Homecoming Committee after attending several functions during my first year and realizing how incredible SAA’s impact is. I wanted to be a part of SAA because I am a firm believer that fun social events and experiences make these four years incredibly fulfilling. My goal this year is to bring back some of our favorite memories from years past with events like Silent Disco and the Mechanical Shark. Bringing a little bit of joy and positivity to peoples’ lives is important, now more than ever, and I cannot wait to hit the ground running to accomplish just that. As always, Hotty Toddy!

Hey there Ole Miss! I’m a sophomore seeking a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a specialization in visual design and minors in business and art. My freshman year, I was apart of 360 Committee on SAA, which led to me wanting to further involve myself in the organization. What SAA does for the Ole Miss community is unmatched by any other Registered Student Organization. Having constant events and social gatherings that are inclusive and free to all university students plays such a huge role in the welcome and community based culture we have on our campus. I look forward to serving you all while on exec and can’t wait to see you at one of our events, Hotty Toddy!

Co-Directors of Committee 360

Brianna McCollum

Hi Landsharks! I am a Senior Biology major from Jackson, Mississippi, and this year I serve as a Co-Director for the 360 Committee of SAA. When first looking into SAA, I was extremely impressed with the way that each committee was able to bring together the student body despite everyone coming from such diverse backgrounds. I knew from then on that this was the place for me! Working with SAA has also helped me to recognize the importance of building a community among my fellow students. As a Co-Director, my goal is to maintain and continue to foster that sense of committee. This year I hope to continue to further SAA’s mission while making it even more inclusive to underrepresented students on campus!

Taylor Lampkin

Hello everyone! I’m Taylor Lampkin, a junior biology pre-med major from Terry, MS. I decided to get involved in SAA because I noticed how welcoming the committee members were to all of the students coming to events. I knew that creating events for all students on campus was something that I would enjoy. My freshman year I attended Ole Miss Idol, and I was amazed by all of the talented singers that performed. Once I found out that the Entertainment Committee put on that event, I knew that I would enjoy being on that committee. I was apart of the entertainment committee for one year and decided to become a Co-Director for 360. I enjoy committee 360 so much because we reach out to groups that need specific programming such as freshmen, transfer students, and International students. My favorite SAA event is Flagship Friday because I get to see all our our committee’s hard work and planning come to action. Hotty Toddy!

Daneel Konnar

Hello Ole Miss Family! My name is Daneel Konnar, and I am a sophomore from Meridian, MS majoring in Public Policy Leadership. Entering Ole Miss, I knew I wanted to find a campus organization that aimed to serve its students and the entire Ole Miss family. The Student Activities Association always promotes and works toward providing our students with various leadership opportunities and creating events that promote a fun, memorable experience for all. Some of my most memorable college moments come from SAA events such as Silent Disco and a Flagship Friday Dessert Night that we held in the Union. As one of the co-directors for SAA's 360 Committee, I will always be committed to promoting and providing fun, memorable events for all of our students at The Flagship! Hotty Toddy, Daneel Konnar.
